Local Area Winter Wonderland Festivities Cancelled....Due to Snowstorm

def. 'Blog Title above' (see 'perfect example of irony')

Yes, here in the lovely Carolinas, we woke up this morning to 4-6 inches of sleet and snow. The meteorologists have been on TV round the clock, giving breathless reports of 1-10 inches of snow across the area! Please stay home! Local malls closed! Milk, bread, eggs and water sold out in local grocery stores! On to our traffic girl Tammi with a look on the traffic cam! Look, there's a car! Driving! Ooooooo....! Now on to local reporter Suzie with a ruler stuck in the snow and it's...omigod Tom, 2.5 inches!!!!

It's positively orgasmic for Tom and Tammi and Suzie at the local networks. And oh yeah - the winter wonderland festivities have been postponed until the spring. When the snow melts.

I live in the Poconos where it's supposed to snow, and people STILL freak out over a couple of inches. Amateurs, jeez.
Where'd you find the cool snow couple pic?

Hahahha! And, wonder what parts of the snow nekked peeps will melt first...

When we moved here, to KY, I was told they NEVER get snow, and IF they do, it doesn't stick more than a day!

We have 6 friggin' inches. I am NOT in Alaska anymore, where is the WARM WEATHER! Darn you Murphy's Law for ruining Global Warming!

Yep, "big weather" always stirs up the local new reporters on "slow news days". We get the some thing in So. California for a little rain.

Hang in there Lulu and stay warm.

Same thing here around San Francisco.
Get a dusting in the hills and people go bonkers. But you can drive east for three and a half hours and be in five to fifteen feet of snow in the winter. It's all about what you're used to I guess.

Hysterical blog title. I'm sorry about the snow though. I think it's the worst 4 letter word of them all.

Hugs!!

Diane - Just googled 'pictures of snow people and there it was..

IK - of course, the hot sticky-out pieces should hit the sun first, right?

W - apparently the guy's not suffering from the cold though!

Jo-your weather's been all over the news here - your rain causes bad hair days for the stars, after all!

Don - so true - it is about your comfort level - just tired of the 'breaking news' about the same thing over and over and over....:)

Momster - so true! I was just using 'snow' as the new f-word...try it!
